So now you have a uCampaign-powered app… great! Your app can serve as an essential tool in your arsenal to get your message out and build up a community of supporters who believe in your cause.
But now what? It’s time to get your supporters to download and engage with your app!
When preparing a plan to market your app to your supporters, the best question to ask yourself is: “What is the urgent reason my supporters will want to download this app?”

Here are two recent examples of our clients using urgency to generate action:
1. NRA: Over 3,500 phone calls to the Senate to confirm Supreme Court Justice Nominee Neil Gorsuch.
The National Rifle Association campaigned on behalf of Donald Trump after he pledged to nominate pro-second amendment supreme court justices. When President Trump nominated Neil Gorsuch, the NRA’s Institute for Legislative Action used their uCampaign-powered app to ask supporters to call their Senators and ask them to confirm Gorsuch. Within a matter of weeks, NRA supporters made over 3,500 phone calls to the Senate using the app. The app would check the supporter’s state and then connect the supporter directly with the correct senate offices.
2. Great America PAC: Over 6,000 peer-to-peer messages inviting their friends to call the senate and support all of the President’s nominees.
During the Spring 2017 senate confirmation hearings, Great America PAC urged their supporters on their uCampaign-powered app to invite their friends to call the senate to urge them to support all of Trump’s nominees. They generated over 6,000 peer-to-peer texts and emails giving their friends a link to download the app and call the senate!
Remember, apps do best when they provide your supporters a real opportunity to make a difference. This is one of the secrets to great app engagement!
